Meet Our Staff

The staff of the Pre-Health Advising Office are here to provide UGA students and alumni with the information and support necessary to successfully apply to professional programs in the healthcare field.

Caroline Piotrowski, M.A.

Caroline Piotrowski joined the Pre-Professional Advising Office in November 2016 as a pre-medical advisor.  In January 2018, she became the Coordinator of the Pre-Professional Advising Office.  Prior to joining the office, she was the departmental advisor for Microbiology and worked primarily with junior and senior students many of whom were interested in pursuing careers in healthcare. 

Caroline graduated from the University of Georgia with an A.B. in Japanese Language & Literature and an M.A. in Religion focusing on Pure Land Buddhism.

Jabari Robinson, M.Ed.

Jabari Robinson joined the Pre-Professional Advising Office in October 2017. He works with pre-medical students — primarily juniors, seniors and alumni- helping guide them through the maze of admissions requirements and the application process.  Prior to joining our office, he was a graduate assistant for orientation programs at Auburn University, working with both freshman and transfer student populations.

Jabari graduated from Winthrop University with a B.S. in Biology and earned his M.Ed. at Auburn University.

Jennifer Letchuk, MSW

Jennifer Letchuk joined the Pre-Professional Advising Office in July 2018. She works with pre-medical students — primarily freshman and sophomores - helping guide them through the maze of admissions requirements and the application process. Prior to joining our office, she was a testing assistant at the Disability Resource Center at the University of Georgia.

Jennifer graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Science with a certificate in Disability Studies and a Master's in Social Work.  While at the university, she gained considerable experience in the inclusion of students with disabilities in higher education. She considers it a privilege to support students in their quest to achieve their academic and career goals.

Amanda Spohn, M.Ed.

Amanda Spohn joined the Pre-Professional Advising Office in December 2016. She works with the pre-dental and pre-optometry students — helping guide them through the process for gaining admission into dental and optometry school.  Prior to joining our office, she was the departmental advisor for the Lamar Dodd School of Art and worked primarily with sophomore, junior and senior Art and Art History students.

Amanda graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Political Science and earned her M.Ed. at Ashland University.

Mandy Skinner, M.A.E.

Mandy Skinner joined the Pre-Professional Advising Office in October 2017. She is currently serving pre-nursing and pre-allied health students (pre-physical therapy, pre-occupational therapy, etc.), helping guide them through the process of application to their specific program(s).  Prior to joining the Pre-Professional Advising Office, Mandy worked at Western Kentucky University for 10 years, helping students to apply to health programs and advising them on healthcare career paths.

Mandy graduated from Western Kentucky University with a B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management and a M.A.E. in Student Affairs in Higher Education.

Taz Qadri, M.Sc.

Taz Qadri joined the Pre-Professional Advising Office in November 2018. She works with pre-physician assistant students helping guide them through the process of application into physician assistant programs.  Prior to joining the Pre-Professional Advising Office, Taz worked in Higher Education for 10 years, helping students with academic advising related to their healthcare career paths, financial aid, and as an adjunct instructor. 

Taz graduated from Brock University in Canada with a BSc. in Recreation and Leisure Studies, a BA in Education from Walden University, and a MSc. in Human Resource Management from Walden University.
